Just picked these folks up from SLC county jail! They stayed in the BLM office to read all of the submitted comments about the oil and gas lease, since they would otherwise be filed away in a cabinet never to be seen again. From left to right: Brooke Larsen, Cali Bulmash, David Rosas, and Ryan Beam; superheroes of this generation willing to face the "justice" system in America. Happy to see these people on the other side. ♥️ Also so much love to legal support and all the organization efforts from Wasatch Rising Tide!Tuesday the Bureau of Land Management will be leasing over 150,000 acres of land to oil and gas companies. This screenshot is a map (provided by @rockymtwild ) of the parcels up for lease this December and March, affecting communities in the Uinta Basin and throughout the intermountain west. Stay tuned for updates on what the public has to say about public lands being used for fossil fuel extraction by corporations!Twitter Updates
